Tamed by Lynne Maris comes very highly recommended by me.

This is a fabulous story of a hidden attraction between a young woman and the handsome professor she is working with, who is secretly a strong DOM.

So far Derek has been keeping his distance from Katrina. But she has a friend who is into the BDSM scene and arranges to get Katrina into a masked sex party where he expected to show up. Katrina has the bit between her teeth and is determined to prove to Derek that she can handle his life style. But first she has to show him, without letting him recognize her. How far does she go?

Lynne's great book was another really hot page turner that I couldn't put down until I read every last word. If you have ever been intrigued by the world of BDSM and a strong Dom, you will love Tamed. It would be a good idea to have a hunk of your own handy and maybe some toys too.

And take note of it's warning: Warning: Contains graphic language, bondage, toys, anal play, and sexual encounters in public settings.

Katrina Keats is part of the research team for Professor Derek Jacobson and has been in love with him for a very long time. Although he acts oblivious to her interest, there are times Kat thinks he might have feelings for her too. Her best friend Trista is involved in the local BDSM scene and when she first sees Derek, Trista realizes he is a well respected Dom. Kat and Trista hatch a plan where Kat will disguise herself for a special Halloween masquerade party where anything goes and Trista will introduce her to Derek as a new and willing sub. This is all new to Kat – will she like this side of Derek?

Tamed is a very short and fun story where I liked both of the main characters. I admired Kat’s tenacity in going after Derek in such a bold fashion, considering the dynamics of a Dom/sub relationship were new to her. She read as much as she could and found the concepts to be a little frightening, albeit arousing. Derek also showed integrity in not going after Kat while he was in a position of authority over her at the university, at least until she boldly showed her interest at the masquerade party. The sex scenes between these two were well written and involved a lot of both mental and physical foreplay. They included bondage, anal play, light spanking and toys. I also enjoyed the snappy dialogue which was realistic and kept my interest throughout. For fans of Dom/sub stories, Tamed is an enjoyable way to spend an hour.
